In today's episode, the final one of 2020, I reflect on the year we’ve just had and discuss how now more than ever, we should expect the unexpected in our lives.
Never before, in our lifetimes anyway, have all our worlds been turned so much upside down by the effects of Covid-19. All our dreams, wishes and plans have been abruptly halted, causing us to put the breaks on our fast-paced lives.
Whether we like it or not, it’s happened. We can either fight with our reality, attempting to get back to ‘normal’ so we can continue full pelt on the hamster wheel. Or we can take this once in the lifetime opportunity to take a deep pause and reflect on our lives and the choices we make.
As we step forth into 2021 and beyond, we have an opportunity to rather than getting lost in plans for the future or worrying about the past, we can instead choose to act more in the present moment and take each day as it comes.
