In this episode, I sat down with Viv Slack to talk about her organisation, Street Support Network, which is doing an incredible job at connecting charities to help put an end to homelessness.
Viv shares her experience of leaving behind a comfortable job to take the road less travelled and follow her heart. If you feel like you are after a healthy dose of inspiration to take that leap of faith to start that new idea then this podcast is the one for you.
We talk in-depth about the company and how her interaction with a homeless man sparked her journey towards creating this organisation, which in turn is helping others just like him to find a way towards a better life.
She cites Gandhi as one of her greatest influences and I feel his quote 'Be the change you want to see in the world' is perfectly summed up by Viv's actions. I felt really inspired after this interview and feel privileged to be able to share Viv's journey with you all.
