In this episode I sit down with 90 year old Jim Giles to talk about how he’s truly flourished in his later life by focusing his time on his creative endeavours.
In his 60’s he went back to university to get his degree in Fine Art and then in his 80’s he goes on to complete his Masters, proving to us all that its never too late to go down a new path.
Jim share his experiences growing up during a world war and some of the challenges he’s faced. He also reflects back on some of his regrets in life and shares some of the wisdom he’ll be passing onto his grandchildren.
For me personally, I feel there’s so much to gain from sitting down with our elders and absorbing all the wisdom they have to share. I certainly left with a spring in my step.
